NOV. 10, 2011 -- Old Webster is getting a jump on the holiday season by hosting their Christmas Open House on Sunday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event, sponsored by Webster merchants, includes trolleys, carriage rides, a visit by Santa Claus and carolers. Merchants along Lockwood Avenue, between Rock Hill Road and Elm Avenue, will be selling and displaying holiday gifts and decorations.
Yucandu Art studio will be open during the Open House and will offer free studio fees. Guests can make their own ornaments out of painted wood, decoupaged paper mache, glittered stars and pine cones, and polymer clay. No registration is needed. Yucandu Art Studio is located at 20 Allen Ave., in Webster Groves.
