St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield recently opened a new six-room addition to its emergency department. The expansion was made possible by an $800,000 donation from Marvin and Harlene Wool of Chesterfield, Mo.
The new rooms are fully-equipped with the latest technology and amenities available. Now, St. Luke's offers a total of 26 rooms for patients' emergency medical needs.
Experienced St. Luke's physicians and nurses who specialize in emergency medicine provide emergency care for adults and children 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week. Pediatricians are available for pediatric patients visiting the emergency department, and all nurses are trained in pediatrics. For the past two years, St. Luke's has received the HealthGrades Emergency Medicine Excellence Award, ranking among the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for emergency medical care. From the calendar
