The St. Louis Carousel was built in 1920 and features more than 60 hand-carved horses and deer. It was originally located at the Forest Park Highlands before a fire destroyed the amusement park in 1963. The carousel was undamaged and was eventually installed in its current location in Faust Park in 1987.
