O'Fallon Park Recreation Complex, a 76,000-square-foot facility offering pools, a fitness center and multipurpose rooms, opened Jan. 21. The North St. Louis facility is owned by the City of St. Louis and operated by the YMCA of Greater St. Louis.
"We are very proud to open this new facility," said Mayor Francis Slay in a news release. "St. Louisans of all ages now have the opportunity to participate in the health and growth of the community through the O'Fallon Park Recreation Complex." Some of the amenities of the recreation complex include: a fitness center, indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities, a double gymnasium, a teen hub and child watch rooms, multipurpose rooms, programming for adults, and youth and teen programs by the Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis. Various membership types are available at the facility, and financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
