Construction is nearly complete at Wentzville's new Splash Station Aquatic Center. The new pool facility will officially open for the season on Saturday, May 24.
The new facility offers residents and visitors many new aquatic features not currently available in Wentzville. Splash Station includes a 400-foot lazy river, a 24-foot-tall water flume, zero-depth beach entry, a three-meter diving platform, a children's splash playground, water basketball and 60-foot lap lanes. The outdoor facility will also offer water programs, such as water aerobics, water walking, diving and swim lessons.
Eager to check out the new pool? Wentzville is hosting an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15. Tour the park while enjoying live music and refreshments. A grand opening is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 23. Entrance is free to residents.
Beginning on May 24, Splash Station will be open daily from 12-8 p.m.
A variety of membership programs are available. Daily admission for those 13 and under and seniors 60 and up is $5 for residents who present their resident cards and $7 for nonresidents. Guests 14 and up are $6 for residents who present their resident cards and $8 for nonresidents.
