"Visitors can expect to see new exhibits, re-vamped programming, enhanced membership offerings and a lot more," said Darcie Cohn, Edwardsville Children's Museum board member.
The 2,000-square-foot museum provides interactive play areas for children. In 2014, the museum added a YMCA Fitness Studio, a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Parlor, Vine Florist and exhibits on dentistry and recycling. The museum also updated its Scott Credit Union play bank area. Other play areas include a fire department, library, café, crime lab, nature area and agriculture education garden.
