Six Flags St. Louis will take guests forward, backward and upside down on its newest attraction, Fireball.
Passengers on this 7-story tall ride will travel pendulum-style back and forth through a single loop. A series of 360 degree revolutions will ensure plenty of inverted hang time. Guests sit both back-to-back and face-to-face in this “face-off” design.
The new attraction, which is scheduled for late spring 2016, will be located in the Illinois section of the park where Rush Street Flyer is currently.
“This high-thrill attraction combines suspense and anticipation, and will be a hit with teens and families alike,” said Dave Roemer, park president. “With the forward and backward motion as well as the inverted hang-time, Fireball will deliver the kind of intense thrills our guests have come to expect from Six Flags St. Louis.”
