B & B Theatres has announced that it will open its new Wentzville Tower Thursday, Nov. 5, at Wentzville Bluffs with a 7 p.m. showing of the new James Bond movie, “Spectre.” All the theater’s auditoriums will feature Christie Vive Dolby 7.1 surround sound, 28-inch stadium seating, digital-projection, and leather-style electric recliner seating.
Four of the theaters will also feature RealD 3D auditoriums. Two Grand Screens will also be available, each more than six stories wide and three stories tall. Traditional movie fare will be available at the concession stand. For patrons looking for dinner and a movie, the new theater also houses Marquee Bar and Grille, which offers cocktails and an expanded menu.
Missouri-based B&B Theatres is the ninth largest theater chain in North America and operates 406 screens at 50 locations in Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. Wentzville Tower will be the third location in the St. Louis area.
According to the B&B Theatres website, the chain offers retro movie nights, summer movie series and birthday parties. The theater chain is also looking into offering sensory-friendly showings of family movies at Wentzville Tower in the future.
Wentzville Bluffs is located near the intersection of U.S. Route 61 and Wentzville Parkway.
In honor of opening weekend, Wentzville Tower 12 will offer "Pay What You Want for Popcorn" Nov. 5-8. Paying customers will receive a free small popcorn with their ticket purchase. Customers may choose to "pay" for the popcorn by making a donation to the Wentzville School District Foundation.
