DEC. 23, 2010 -- The St. Louis County Library Foundation and Pudd'nHead Books will present the authors of the Magic Tree House series, Mary Pope Osborne and Natalie Pope Boyce, on Monday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Library Headquarters, 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The library will be closed for normal business until 5:30 p.m. on the day of the event. The Magic House will host pre-event activities when doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The program is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event from Pudd'nHead Books. Books for signing must be purchased at the event.
In the latest installment of the Magic Tree House series, "A Crazy Day with Cobras," Jack and Annie travel to India to save Merlin's penguin from a terrible spell. The companion research guide "Snakes and Other Reptiles," adds another dimension to this immensely popular chapter book series.
