Spring is the perfect time to explore World Bird Sanctuary
Helping baby birds
Do you know what to do if you find a baby bird in trouble?
Welcome to World Bird Sanctuary
What to expect during a visit to one of the area's most unique attractions
A note to our visitors: We are open and accessible!! Due to the construction project at Routes 141 and 44, the outer road that leads to the sanctuary (Meramec Street) can only be accessed from one and only one entryway.
All traffic is being detoured to the new entrance to Meramec Street on the Valley Park exit ramp from 44 West / North Highway Drive. As you can see, you can directly access this entryway from 44 West (exit Valley Park), from North Highway Drive, or by traveling on the outer road on the opposite side of Highway 44 (South Highway Drive), turning left on the Maritz overpass and then left again on North Highway Drive. GPS units are not updated with this project!
