Long Row Lavender
Grab a girlfriend and plan to spend the morning at this welcoming lavender farm just west of St. Charles County. Visitors notice the lavender fields as they drive up to the beautiful barn, which houses a gift shop and class space. The shop features products made with lavender harvested from the property. Lotions, sprays, wreaths and even culinary lavender fill the quaint store. Other home décor items are also showcased. Most days the owners have a special lavender treat with lavender-infused lemonade available for guests to enjoy.
Yoga classes, classes on succulents, wreaths and more are frequently scheduled, as well as other special events.

Pere Marquette State Park
Take a drive to scenic Pere Marquette State Park and lace up your shoes for a hike. Along the way you can take in views of the Illinois River, wildlife and other natural offerings.
