Two egg-citing egg hunts
Join Purina Farms for a Kiddie Egg Hunt! This egg-citing egg hunt takes place on Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The hunt, along with other activities including a bubble machine, photos with the Easter Bunny and face painting, will be held at the Main Show Field. The egg hunt will be divided among three different age groups: ages 2 and under, ages 3-5 and ages 6 -10. Each age group will have its own special area for collecting eggs. The cost is $10 per child. Every child must be registered ahead of time in order to participate. Children should bring their own baskets to collect the eggs, which are filled with a variety of goodies from candy to toys to stickers.
Canine companions can also participate in a unique egg hunt designed just for them. Two Doggie Egg Hunts will take place at noon and 3 p.m. on March 24. Dogs will search for 10 numbered eggs, and then turn them in for a chance to win special prizes. Select eggs will win participants gift cards, dog treats and more. The cost is $10 per dog. All dogs must be registered ahead of time in order to participate. Adults and children accompanying their dogs are admitted at no charge. Dog owners should bring their own basket to collect the eggs. Dogs must be well-behaved and leashed at all times, be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have a visible rabies ID tag. Puppies must be 4 months or older to participate.
