The AASLH Leadership in History awards are considered to be the most prestigious recognitions for preservation and interpretation of state and local history. “A Walk in 1875 St. Louis” was a temporary exhibition that was designed to examine one year in local history so closely that visitors felt they were actually there.
History Clubhouse, which opened in 2015, is a long-term exhibition designed for children with input from families. The space is designed to encourage children to engage with local history through fun, hands-on exhibits and activities.
The Missouri History Museum is located at 5700 Lindell Boulevard in Forest Park. The History Clubhouse is free and open daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Through July 26, the History Clubhouse will offer extended hours Tuesday nights until 7:30 p.m.
