Ka-Chow! Young speedsters can see their favorite stars when Road to the Races, a nationwide tour for fans of Disney-Pixar’s “Cars,” comes to Ballpark Village in St. Louis Wednesday, April 19, from noon-5 p.m. (entry ends at 4 p.m.)
Life-size, character lookalikes of Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm will headline the tour. The event will also feature a street art booth, a racer pit crew activity, an interactive Mattel play area, displays of die cast racers, Dole® treats and more. An exhibit presented by NASCAR Acceleration Nation will introduce children to the science behind racing.
Visitors can also see a sneak peek of Disney Pixar’s “Cars 3,” which follows Lightning McQueen as he races to keep up with a younger generation. The new movie opens in theaters nationwide June 16.
