Just as another summer draws to a close, Six Flags St. Louis has announced news that’s sure to have water park lovers counting the days until summer 2018. The park will add a new water attraction at Hurricane Harbor in May 2018.
Typhoon Twister will be a zero-gravity slide complex featuring two extreme slides. Riding in four-person rafts, passengers will slide down a 125-foot-long whirlpool bowl that spins 360 degrees. When the bottom drops, passengers will fall into an enclosed five-story drop, then propel up in a 45-foot zero-gravity wave wall designed to create moments of weightlessness. Passengers then shoot into a splash pool below. Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride Typhoon Twister.
Hurricane Harbor is free with general admission to Six Flags. For more information about the park, to purchase tickets and to learn more about upcoming events, including Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, visit sixflags.com/stlouis.
