Elementary and middle school students can showcase their artwork and support Hurricane Florence relief efforts at the Pop-Up Kid’s Art Fair at the Jacoby Arts Center Oct. 28 from noon-4 p.m.
Participating artists will receive their own booths to showcase their work, which can include drawing, painting, sculpting, crafts, knitting and other mediums. Through the process, students will have an opportunity to answer questions about their pieces and learn how to price and sell their art. Participants will be encouraged to donate a portion of the proceeds to hurricane relief, and may keep the rest of their profits.
Families may register online to participate in the event. For more information, follow the event on Facebook or call the Jacoby Arts Center at 618-462-5222. The event is open to children of all abilities in grades K-8.
