This exhibit will be open from April 14 to Sept. 3. The exhibition celebrates the anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission and looks at the broader impact of America’s space program and astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins. Visitors can explore more than 20 artifacts from the mission and learn more about the astronauts who participated in the mission, as well as the NASA employees who helped make Apollo 11 possible, through models, videos and interactive exhibits. The exhibition also features a 3-D tour that provides a rare glimpse at the interior.
Admission to "Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission" is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children ages 5-12, and free for museum members and children under age 5. Special pricing is available for groups of 10 or more. General admission to the Science Center is free. Click here for more information.
